Maddog Fitness Challenge – The Word On The Street….

Maddog Fitness Challenge RampHello friend,

I was just notified that an avid adventure-racer posted a ‘No-holds barred’ Review of the first-ever Maddog Fitness Challenge race on his blog.

Here is the beginning of his review:

“The Mad Dog Fitness Challenge that I ran on June, 2 2012 at Gunstock Mountain was the first time that this race was done. I have done many Obstacle course races around the state; this race in particular was the hardest challenge of them all. The Mad Dog Fitness Challenge was created by Brian Silfes who is the owner of Brian’s One2One fitness and Concord Athlete Training Center here in Concord. The obstacles that were on the race were similar to some that I have seen in the past but with a twist for sure. The Obstacles were built by Natural Playgrounds and they didn’t disappoint. One obstacle that stood out to me was the wall climb up a quarter ramp. I have seen this element before but never seen it with a bar on top to grab onto and seeing as how it was raining that came in very handy because it was very slippery. It seemed that Brian wanted to make something that would push your limits but at the same time make it so anyone could complete this course. Before the race started they had a warm up station which was something different than any other races. One of the Trainers at One2One was running it. I kind of regretted doing the warm up as early as I did because by the time it was done I was cold again and I started to cramp up a little once I hit the Eagles nest.”
